This 2-year half-day program offers students the chance to experience the day-to-day operations of a fully functional auto repair shop, complete with real customers and real-world challenges. Guided by industry professionals, students will combine hands-on training with classroom learning to master the essential systems of modern automotive technology.
Through engaging theory lectures, student-driven research, computer-based learning tools, and lab exercises, you'll explore a wide range of topics, including:
This program includes the following credentials: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry Level Certifications in Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Heating and Air Conditioning, Maintenance and Light Repair, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Suspension and Steering; as well as Tire Service Training and Certification.

For high school students attending from within the district, there is no cost to this program. For students from outside of the district and adults who are not enrolled in high school, local scholarships and other funding sources may be available.
