O'Briens Aveda Institute

Description

In this 1,000 hour certificate program, students learn skills to become professionals as fashion photo stylists, makeup artists, Aveda Global Educators, retail sales specialists, hair colorists, salon owners, and more. Students also prepare for the state board exam to become a licensed cosmetologist in Vermont.

Depending on the start date students choose, they either participate four days per week, 32 hours per week, which totals eight months; or, three days per week, 24 hours per week, which totals 10.5 months.

    O’Briens Aveda Institute is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to offer Title IV funding, which includes federal grants. Local grants and other scholarships are accepted, as well.
