Advanced Welding Institute
Description
AWI's Structural Welding Program is designed to train students how to perform welding of plates in all positions. Upon graduation, students will be able to obtain entry level positions in construction of bridges, fabrication of structural components, and other job shop applications. Class start dates are the first Monday of September and March. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.

The first step on the road to financial aid assistance is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans are available. AWI programs are eligible for the Vermont Trades Scholarship Forgivable Loan Program through VSAC. This loan program covers up to full tuition, initial licensing fees and exam fees for qualified recipients enrolled in industry-recognized training and certification programs.
