This is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.

This is a two-year program open to all 11th and 12th grade students who are in good academic standing. 10th grade students may apply with permission.

Students will learn concepts related to customer service, marketing campaigns, public relations, merchandising, accounting, inventory, and communication. In year one, students create a school store business plan based on the leadership, teamwork, business and marketing concepts learned such as accounting, customer service, business ethics, marketing, and advertising. This business plan is brought to life through real-world application in the school store school-based enterprise. Each student holds a key role in the school store from selecting and ordering inventory, to running the cash register, to running financial reports using the QuickBooks accounting software. In year two, students focus on business operations and take a deeper dive into what it takes to run a successful business. Students go on trips to a variety of businesses throughout the community to learn from local entrepreneurs.
