This program is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.

Burlington Technical Center’s Design & Illustration program pushes art students to master their work by using many artistic tools. Students study graphic design on an iMac loaded with industry-standard Adobe Creative Cloud software. Classes include figure drawing and life drawing. Students can paint, collage, and sketch in their visual journal. Students also learn to take portraits and fine art photographs with a DSLR camera, or animate on a digital drawing tablet. This program will expose you to many artistic tools and help you to build a portfolio for applying to schools or to continue your art practices in life.

This program includes the following credential(s): Adobe Certified Associate-Photoshop, Adobe Certified Associate-Illustrator, Adobe Certified Associate-Premier.
