This program is for students who are highly motivated and passionate about becoming an educator. It gives future educators a strong grounding in pedagogy and curriculum development and implementation.
Students can focus their studies in the following areas: Teacher Licensure, Community Education, and Dual Language Early Childhood Education. If seeking a teaching license, students will have the opportunity to develop their own portfolios to demonstrate their abilities and prepare them for teaching.
This program includes or prepares for the following credential(s): Vermont Teacher License.

While Goddard’s low-residency model allows our students to continue working while pursuing their degrees, most will need some assistance in putting together the cost of attendance. More than one third of our undergraduate students receive assistance through the Federal Pell or Student Educational Opportunity Grants.
