This 21 hour refrigerant certification course will include the areas outlined below and will prepare you to successfully pass four areas of certification. They are:
- EPA ACT 608 Certifications for Servicing Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems
- Type 1 - Servicing Small Appliances
- Type 2 - High-Pressure Appliances
- Type 3 - Low-Pressure Appliances
This program includes or prepares for the following credential(s): EPA Act 608 Safe Refrigerant Handling Certification.

Grants for Adult Career & Technical Education
Grants, scholarships, and other funding sources are available. Depending on program type and student eligibility, one or more tuition assistance options may apply. For example, VSAC Advancement Grant, VDOL Adult CTE Scholarship, Curtis Fund Credential of Value Scholarship, and other forms of state assistance.
