In this program you'll learn how children develop and grow over time, how to keep our young people safe and healthy, how to teach, what to teach, how to work in partnership with families, and how to be a professional in the fields of both early childhood and general education.
This flexible, two-year program allows students to explore pathways in early childhood education (ECE), teaching, and related fields such as counseling and child care management. Experiences in classrooms and ECE centers allow students to apply their learning in real-world settings while earning industry-recognized credentials (IRCs) and dual-enrollment opportunities through Vermont State University (VTSU) and the Community College of Vermont (CCV).
This program includes the following credential: Paraeducator Online Training and Certification by The Master Teacher.
