Working closely with faculty and peers, you will study the ways media interacts with society and produce video, news, social media, websites, and scripts. There are many opportunities to sharpen your skills and demonstrate your work. Those include The Spartan newspaper and website, Castleton Internet Radio, the Content Lab, independent projects, and internships. Bachelor of Arts graduates in Media & Communication will be able to understand media from social, economic, political, ethical, and global perspectives; effectively research and analyze media material; produce high quality media in visual, oral, and written forms; effectively apply media and communication skills in a rapidly changing real world environment.
