This program is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.
This two-year program prepares students for a wide variety of health careers. Students are introduced to different job options, professional standards in health care, college-level medical terminology and human biology, and scholarly writing. Learning combines classroom experience, shadowing current healthcare providers in hospital and office settings, clinical experiences, guest speakers, and field trips.
This program includes the following credential(s): Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA).
