Phlebotomy | Certification

This program is intended for adult students. High school students may be able to apply, as well. Students must turn 18 within six months of the exam.

Description

Phlebotomists perform blood collection procedures, as well as transport and process blood samples. This training includes anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, lab procedures, safety, collection techniques, legal issues, and 10 hours of clinical observations.

Successful participation in this program is a way to prepare for the Phlebotomy Technician Certification.
