The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Socially Engaged Art supports artists to create new work that engages with communities. Faculty and students from the performing arts, visual arts, craft practices, and narrative media come together to develop collaborative projects around real issues.
This program is based in participatory art, social practice, arts activism, and community-based art. Students are encouraged to experiment with a range of mediums.

While Goddard’s low-residency model allows our students to continue working while pursuing their degrees, most will need some assistance in putting together the cost of attendance. More than one third of our undergraduate students receive assistance through the Federal Pell or Student Educational Opportunity Grants.
