In order to prepare for the test to become Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNA), students in this training will learn how to safely care for patients in a variety of health care settings; about resident rights; how to promote dignity in a health care setting; how to enhance a patient’s quality of life; demonstrate their abilities in lab and clinical settings; how to effectively communicate with the health care team; how to safely and accurately perform basic nursing skills including vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, transfers, and range of motion; a basic understanding of human anatomy and physiology and the effects of disease on body systems; and a basic understanding of commonly used medical terminology.

The Bronze Certification is a program for those who have minimal field experience as an oilheat technician. The program is designed to teach individuals the fundamental skills of oilheat. This class is the first step towards a career as an oilheat service technician.

Allied Health introduces students to careers in the healthcare field. Students who successfully complete the program meet entry-level requirements for a number of careers in the healthcare industry.
This program includes the following credential(s): Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA); National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification.

Students in the Automotive Technology program will use high-tech equipment located in a state-of-the-art facility. Students receive theory instruction and hands-on performance in all Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas (brakes, steering and suspension, alignment, manual transmissions and transaxles, and electrical systems), which provide initial training for employment in the automotive service field or further training at a postsecondary institution. In order to successfully complete the program, students must pass the General Service Technician exam.

Computer Networking Technology provides full day and half day opportunities for students work to install, configure, troubleshoot, and ethically hack Windows, Mac, and Linux based computers. Cybersecurity, programming fundamentals, commercial drone accreditation, and virtual reality simulation programs are also introduced.
This program includes the following credential(s): CompTia A+ Certification.

Construction Technology provides training in all phases of residential construction. Students plan and participate in the construction of a complete modular home Ñ mastering structural framing techniques, window installation, siding, roofing, and finish work while working with electricians and plumbers at the job site. Students visit commercial job sites and experience an introduction to commercial construction methods.
This program includes the following credential(s): National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Construction Core Introductory Craft Skills Certificate and Level 1 Carpentry Certificate.

Creative Media Art & Design is where students explore graphic design, illustration, photography, animation, fine art, and filmmaking. Over the course of the year, students create a comprehensive portfolio to showcase their work and may earn Adobe Certified Associate Credentials in Visual Communication.
This program includes the following credential(s): Adobe Certified Associate Certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier; and Graphic Design Visual Arts Final Portfolio.

Culinary Arts is designed for students who plan on exploring a career as a chef, cook, baker, pastry chef, dining room manager, etc. Study will include the fundamentals and concepts that apply to culinary arts with an emphasis on the understanding of the technology and creative skills needed for success in this evolving career. The course consists of lectures, demonstrations and practical experiences in all aspects of a student-operated commercial kitchen and dining room.
This program includes the following credential(s): National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certificates: Food Handler and Manager.

Electrical Technology provides technical training in all phases of residential and commercial wiring. Students receive instruction in safe and proper operation of tools and power equipment, reading electrical plans and specifications, and job skills required in a work environment. Students experience wiring residential and commercial structures, introduction to energy saving techniques and alternative energy sources. Students are prepared for the successful completion of the Vermont Electrical Apprenticeship I & II exams.
This program includes the following credential(s): Level 1 & 2 Vermont Electrician Apprenticeship.

This Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning (HVAC) program offers entry-level training in residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigerant systems. Students learn about refrigeration physics and the refrigeration cycle, combustion theory, oil and gas fuel systems, air distribution systems, air conditioning and heating systems, wiring diagrams, piping practices, soldering, brazing, systematic troubleshooting and basic electrical theory related to HVAC.
Completing this class will prepare students for the EPA 608 Certification and National Oilheat Research Alliance Bronze Oilheat Technician Certification.
