Cosmetology | License

In this 1,000 hour certificate program, students learn skills to become professionals as fashion photo stylists, makeup artists, Aveda Global Educators, retail sales specialists, hair colorists, salon owners, and more. Students also prepare for the state board exam to become a licensed cosmetologist in Vermont.

Depending on the start date students choose, they either participate four days per week, 32 hours per week, which totals eight months; or, three days per week, 24 hours per week, which totals 10.5 months.

Barbering | License

In this 750 hour certificate program, students learn skills to become professionals in haircutting and hairstyling and learn about owning their own salons. Students also prepare for the state board exam to become a licensed barber in Vermont.

Depending on the start date students choose, they either participate four days per week, 32 hours per week, which totals six months; or, three days per week, 24 hours per week, which totals eight months.

Esthetics | License

In this 600 hour certificate program, students learn skills to become professionals in the areas of facial treatments and skincare, hair removal, make up, and more. Students also prepare for the state board exam to become a licensed Esthetician in Vermont.

Students participate for 30 hours per week for 20 weeks, which totals five months.

Nail Technology | License

In this 200 hour certificate program, students learn skills to become professionals as nail technicians, nail salon managers, or nail educators. Students also prepare for the state board exam to become a licensed nail technician in Vermont.

Students participate for 24 hours per week for two months and one week.
