Pharmacy Technician | Registered Apprenticeship

Description

As a pharmacy technician apprentices, students earn college credit, participate in on-the-job training, and start their careers in healthcare. Pharmacy technicians prepare prescription medication orders under the direction of a pharmacist. This apprenticeship also includes training in customer service and the chance to earn Customer Service Insitute of America's Certified Customer Service Experience Professional credential.

After students finish their on-the-job training, they can also sit for the national assessment to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
