Dental Assisting | Certification

You can train to become a dental assistant in as little as six months with an online certificate program through the Vermont Adult Career & Technical Education Association in collaboration with the Vermont State Dental Society. Plus, you can get paid as a dental assistant trainee while earning a certificate in dental assisting to get on a clear path to a high-pay, high-demand career.

This course includes:

  • Overview of the dental profession
  • Dental health and disease
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Infection control
  • Basics of dental assisting
  • Radiology
  • Dental materials
  • Dental assisting in the specialty practice
  • Dental office management

This program includes or prepares for the following credential(s): Certified Dental Assistant.
