Description

This program is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.

Cosmetology prepares you to put your artistic skills to work making people look and feel their best. Learn all you need for the Vermont State Board of Cosmetology license exam — hair cutting and coloring, chemical texturizing, waxing, skin care, nail services, and makeup application — in the Central Vermont Career Center in-house salon.

This program includes the following credentials: ACT National Career Readiness Certificate. Successful participation in this credential is a pathway to eligibility for the Vermont Licensing Exam to obtain a Cosmetology License.
