This is intended for high school students attending from within the district. College credits may be available as part of this program. Students from outside the district or adults who are not enrolled in high school can contact the center to apply for this program, as well.
Forestry and Natural Resources is a multi-period, two-year program for 11th and 12th graders focusing on land use and management. The program involves outdoor experiences in logging, sugaring, soils, forest management and heavy equipment. Students can compete in Future Farmers of America (FFA) competitions and participate in conferences.
This program includes the following credential(s): Game of Logging Chainsaw Safety Training Levels 1, 2, 3, 4; ACT National Career Readiness Certificate.
